Pikul Apartment Hotel

We stayed one night and plan to come back. The owners were lovely, spoke excellent English, and had bicycles available to rent. Our room was clean and quiet, with plenty of space and a desk for working. The hot shower was nice too.

The owner is so kind and speaks English perfectly. It’s a lovely place, with good food nearby and just a short walk to the Mekong.

The owners were so sweet and kind, and the hotel has a cute cat too. We had a lovely four-night stay, despite the dated feel of the place. The location is ideal, close to the river, 7/11, and lots of places to eat. We didn’t use the option of daily room freshening, but they still brought drinking water and toilet paper every day. My one wish was for stronger shower pressure.

We had a really comfortable week at Pikul Apartments. The big room had good linens and a comfortable bed, and having two desks was a real help for both of us to study or write. With the weather hot most of the week, the refrigerator came in handy. Two bottles of water were brought each day. The courtyard plants are lovely and bring in birds, so it’s a nice place to wake up. Jeem and Don are friendly and helpful, and both speak very good English. Su, the housekeeper, is kind and did a wonderful job keeping us comfortable. We also enjoyed being near the riverside for morning and evening walks. Jeem arranged a car for us to visit Phu Phrabat, about an hour away. The beautiful landscape has striking rock formations, old Buddhist temples, and ancient petroglyphs. It’s not to be missed.
