Getting around on foot was fairly easy: there’s a 7-eleven, Lotus, Mini C, an Otteri laundry, and a few local places to eat nearby, though they shut quite early, around 8pm. It’s a better location if you’re driving. The owner and staff were friendly, and the owner speaks English. The rooms are bright, airy, and clean, with a TV, fridge, AC, and hot shower, but no kettle. The shower drained slowly and left the bathroom a bit flooded. Still, for the peak-season price, I can’t really complain.

I really enjoyed my stay at REST TIME Hotel. The price is very affordable, the room looked like a five-star room, and the staff were welcoming and flexible with their service. My English isn’t good enough to explain just how much I liked the place, but I’d recommend this hotel to travelers in NONGKHAI. Shoutout to REST TIME HOTEL!

The hotel has good facilities and the hospitality was good too. It’s tucked away a bit from the main road, though, and I expected the price to be more reasonable for a hotel of this standard.

The location near the border is good. It’s a new hotel, though not all the rooms are that good.
