Jiratchaya Garden Hotel

Getting blankets, towels, and a kettle took a very long time, and I had to ask for them. The floor has holes that need repairing, and there are rats that need to be dealt with. The water smelled awful, so I had to run it for a while before showering. Ugh. The service staff were polite, but guests most need a clean, comfortable place with good lighting where they feel safe. This needs serious improvement. I tried to laugh it off, but staying there felt more like being at a resort or a scout camp.

The room had a single tiny light, so it was too dim to put on makeup without using my phone flashlight. The bed was incredibly hard, and I spent the whole night tossing around. I woke up in a lot of pain. The pillows and blankets were as pictured, thin and old, and there was only one, so we had to fight over it. The towels were thin, worn, and frayed too. For 450 baht a night, the accommodation was terrible. The floor had so many holes I was afraid to walk on it in case I fell through. There was water underneath and mosquitoes crawled up through the floor. The bathroom ceiling was missing, and the water heater didn’t work. I called about it, but they told me to move to another room, saying that one was fine. I stayed in two rooms. They didn’t fix the problem and just told me to use the bathroom in the other room I’d been in. I was really disappointed. Think carefully before staying here. For the price, it’s really terrible. Look somewhere else.

At 450 baht a night, this place was awful. The bed felt like a wooden plank, the blanket was thin, and the toilet didn’t have a lid. There were lots of mosquitoes, it wasn’t clean, and the water smelled fishy. We also had no water or power outage during my stay.

Before setting off, I wanted to make merit, even if only a little, by offering water and milk so my work would go smoothly. Amen. I also pray that my dear son will be protected. Amen.
