Krabi Green Hill Pool Villas

The pool and its view are really nice, and the landscaping is beautiful. Having a car helps with the location. There are two kinds of villas here. Apart from villa #9, the villas are old, so expect a 2-star experience if you pick one of those. The listing doesn’t make the difference between older and newer villas clear, and the interior photos look much nicer than the actual rooms. My senior parents had to take cold showers because the water heater didn’t work.

The views from our villa were breathtaking, with mountains and greenery all around, and the whole place felt calm and sincere. Our private pool was clear and peaceful. The villas are spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. What made the stay feel so special was the family’s welcome. The lovely mother and father, and their wonderful son and daughter greeted us with such warm smiles that we immediately felt cared for. They even surprised us with a delicious orange cake. It felt less like checking into a resort and more like coming home to family. That’s true Thai hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a warm, relaxing getaway, and I’ll definitely return.

Our flight was cancelled, and the hosts did everything they could to make sure we had somewhere to stay until it was rescheduled. They’re some of the kindest, most generous people I’ve met. The villas are clean and nicely designed, with great views, and the pool is fantastic. Easily the best place to stay in the Krabi area.

The garden is lovely, filled with different plants and flowers, with scenic mountain views around it. Our pool was clean, the rooms were tidied each day, and staff replied promptly by chat. There are nearby places worth visiting, including an Elephant Sanctuary and the Klong Root water canal for kayaking in beautiful surroundings. We stayed five nights, though we didn’t see the owner or host. A staff member came to check us out around 10 a.m. on our last day. The villa is quite remote, with nothing within walking distance. The complimentary water bottles are tiny, and we found small ants in the room. There were no pool depth markers, so guests should be careful. Staff answered messages, but could have been more proactive about solving problems. I’d suggest the owner add depth signs, and perhaps a small shop in one villa for basics like water and soap. A small workout area with yoga mats and basic equipment could be a nice addition too. I’m not sure I’d return.
