I’ve been back around six or seven times because the lady is helpful. Check-in can still be a long wait, though. If she isn’t there, I call the owner, who gets her to come down. Sometimes she’s left her phone at the entrance, and then you’re stuck waiting. My longest wait was about an hour. I know she may be the only person handling everything, but having someone else to help would make a big difference.

The location is good, the fingerprint entry system feels secure, and the building manager is lovely and helpful. But the street can get very noisy at night, with fights sometimes happening around 3 or 4 a.m. The electricity charges also didn’t make sense to me: 1,536 baht for a full month, then 1,500 baht for an 18-day stay the following month. When I asked to see the bill details, I got no response. I moved out on June 18th. A month later, I still hadn’t received my deposit. I had to ask for it repeatedly, and after they didn’t contact me, I kept calling but couldn’t get an answer. They were slow to settle the bill after I vacated.

Good value, especially with the market nearby, The Mall Ngamwongwan close by, and Pantip Ngamwongwan right next door.

The modern rooms are clean, and there are restaurants all around. Getting around is easy, and the place feels safe and surprisingly affordable. It also stays clear of flooding, which is unusual for Ngamwongwan 25, where even light rain can flood the alley from the entrance to the far end.
