Aroma Pai Hotel and Spa

The owner is very hospitable. The property is peaceful, about 10 kilometers from the city. Rooms are quite large, though they may feel a little old because of the property's age. There's a private hot tub in the room.

It's a quiet location, which is the one real plus. The hotel itself is very average and the room is pretty spartan: just a bed, a small wooden table, and two wooden chairs. There's no bedside table or anywhere to hang clothes, and no shampoo or soap in the toilet.

The hot spring under the stars was truly magical. We loved the privacy of the rooms, with curtains at every window, and the bed was comfortable. There was a huge fridge, water, and shower gel in the room. The place was clean and welcoming, and we got a warm welcome from the nice owners. We were so pleased to find a hot spring hotel in nature with a great swimming pool and elephants walking past the garden in the evening. Hot springs often have a mild sulphur aroma, and this one did too, but only while soaking in the giant hot tub under the moon. It wasn't a big deal for us. The soak eased aches and pains and left our skin silky smooth. In the morning, peaceful piano music played in the lobby. It's away from the craziness of town, though taxis are cheap, and there's a coffee shop and restaurant within walking distance. We'd genuinely love to come back for a month. Love this place.

I stayed at this lovely resort for two weeks. The owner and staff were welcoming and professional, and my room was large, with my own hot spring tub that I could make as hot as I liked, which is very hot. Breakfast was wonderful, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Elephants walk past six times a day, and it's also a good place to meet other travelers visiting the resort.
