At first, the spacious rooms, attractive pool and excellent location close to everything impressed us. We’d arrived with high expectations because the photos showed such beautiful design. But poor upkeep, hygiene problems and disappointing service soon changed our view, and the place didn’t feel worth the price or the standard expected of a luxury hotel. Fresh towels were left on a chair outside our room instead of being brought in. Breakfast was a small serving delivered to the room, with no buffet or variety. We found ants in the shower and a strange smell from the sink. When we asked for fresh towels, staff said they couldn’t provide any because the hotel was full and there were no clean ones. Geckos were in the room every day, on the ceiling, walls and door. One was even in the salad delivered to our room. We understand they’re part of the local environment, but not in those numbers indoors. When we reported the contaminated meal, staff just laughed and offered neither a solution nor a replacement. We were later moved to another room and given a cocktail at the bar as a small gesture, but the geckos came back because gaps between the walls and ceiling let animals in. The second room also had loose power outlets and ants emerging from the wooden shower deck. Staff did try to help to some extent, but overall the place was poorly maintained and the service didn’t match what we paid.

We rented a motorbike through the hotel, which was super convenient. Breakfast was delicious and brought right to the room. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the pool big and clean. There’s a bar open all day. Amazing stay, highly recommended!

The rooms were roomy, clean, cozy and welcoming, and the pool just outside the door was a big plus since it’s open around the clock. Breakfast was simple and not especially tasty. If you want to explore while staying here, you’ll need a car or motorcycle. The location is perfect, right on the beach. Restaurants are within walking distance, and the two we tried were delicious. I highly recommend this hotel and hope they keep up the high standard.

The whole place was so beautiful and clean, and the service was excellent. The food was amazing, especially the delicious lasagna, and the fresh juices were great too. The huge pool and beautiful statue gave the setting a special touch. I took only a few photos because I was busy enjoying the place and the experience. Thank you so much!

Zee feels like a peaceful paradise away from the bustle of Koh Phangan. The private houses are beautifully designed, with lovely layouts and doors that open straight onto the pool. The staff are kind and accommodating, and work hard to keep everything in top shape. They quickly helped arrange transfers from the Koh Samui airport and a motorbike rental. There are reviews mentioning bugs in the rooms, but this is the jungle. Now and then one may get inside. Maybe people leave the big front door open because it’s beautiful outside and a harmless bug wanders in from the lovely jungle landscaping. Enjoy being surrounded by nature. Also, the restaurant has great vegan options!
