The coffee shop downstairs has a lovely setup with plants, and the neighborhood is calm. Bella Ciao Hotel is also very close to the beach, about 100 meters, with a 7-Eleven nearby. I had a comfortable, relaxing stay.

The pool was the only part of the property I found reasonably maintained. The rest of our stay was frightening, especially with two small children in family room 143. On March 17, 2026, the power went out across the hotel. There was no running water, including for the toilet, and the air conditioning stopped in 35°C tropical heat, making the room feel unsafe. The refrigerator also failed, spoiling our food and baby food. Staff left without warning or help, and nothing was fixed that day or evening. We had to spend the night like that. No one offered us another room or even water. I’m attaching a video from that night. In the morning, the administrator, who introduced himself as Zyann, said he didn’t know why the power had gone out or when it would return. We packed immediately, handed in the keys, and moved to another hotel because we couldn’t stay another night. The owner refused to refund the paid days we didn’t use. We had also paid for breakfast, but skipped it for two days in a row and had to buy food elsewhere. From what happened to us, management doesn’t seem to help tourists in a crisis or try to fix problems. They disappear and leave guests in conditions that can’t be lived in. The service was extremely poor. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is about the restaurant, now called Greggz. We used to come regularly when it was Bella Ciao, and the coffee and hospitality were excellent. Today the coffee itself was okay, but the cup was only about two-thirds full. The atmosphere was unpleasant too. Two noisy men had taken the best seats for a loud video call, and it turned out they were connected with the management. The other seats were less comfortable or directly under very cold AC, while they kept the good spots. We won’t be back, with so many other good cafes nearby.

The room had plenty of space, two large beds, and nice natural light from the window. It was clean and made for a very comfortable, relaxing stay.
