Blue House Pai

This was a very cheap, clean hostel when I stayed in low season. The staff were really friendly, and breakfast came with free coffee and tea each morning. They also provided bottled water, clean towels, a TV and Wi-Fi. Laundry was available for an extra charge. It’s about five minutes from the bus station, and around 6 pm food stands set up right in front. The bathroom interior and market noise were downsides, but I had a great stay.

The location is amazing, and the room was big and really nice, with a hot shower. The lovely staff member was clearly trying to speak English and knew enough to communicate about the room. Prices depend on the number of guests: 350 baht for one, 400 for two, and 500 for three. Highly recommend it!

I didn’t stay here, but this was the cheapest laundry I could find in Pai, and it’s super central. It cost 35 baht per kilo, or 65 for same-day service. For once in Southeast Asia, my clothes weren’t put in a dryer, and they smelled so good. Best laundry spot in Pai!

The location is awesome, right on the main street, though it can be loud. We booked through Agoda, where the listing said the rooms had AC and even showed it in the pictures. Turns out our room had none. The owner didn’t want to do anything when we talked to them, so we contacted Agoda and got our money back. We booked another hotel down the street for the same price.
