Bueng Pai Farm

The hosts, Orn and Ron, made our time at Bueng Pai Farm one of my best experiences in Thailand. Their warm hospitality and openness brighten your day right away. It's a peaceful spot, just five minutes from the Walking Street and easy to reach by scooter. The accommodations sit beside the fishing lake, which gives the place a calm feel, especially from a hammock. We were often greeted by one of the resident parrots, and I was surprised by how spacious our place was, particularly the bathroom. I'd definitely recommend staying here. If you're visiting around winter, bring warm clothes.

The room by the water was gorgeous and private, and the pool and fish pond were a lovely surprise. I ended up extending my stay by a day because I couldn't bring myself to leave. I'd have stayed longer if I could, and I'll be back. The hosts made me feel at home, like a visit to a family member who puts everyone else first. I can't recommend this special place enough.

The lake and landscaping make the farm feel like an oasis, with interesting animals around and loads of big fish in the water. I could happily have spent many more days sitting by the lake. We had an amazing three nights at Bueng Pai Farm and have never had hospitality like this. Orn and Run are lovely people who made us feel completely at home. I really hope to return someday. Our two-night plan at Bueng farm Pai turned into three, then four, and eventually eight nights. The lakeside cabin was so peaceful, and the warmth and generosity of our hosts, Orn and Run, made the stay even better. They're a wonderful couple and perfect hosts.
