The music nearby carried on quite late at night, and the room service could be better since they only cleaned every other day. Still, Chalet No. 7 was comfortable, even if it has seen better days. The location just off the walking street was excellent, with all the food and activity close by. I had a good stay.

There was plenty of room outside to leave a bicycle, and the guesthouse is handy for the night market and shops. The rooms were clean but dated. For 500-600 baht, I would have expected a fridge and kettle. It was a bit noisy by the road and bars, with music playing until midnight.

I only planned to stay a few nights, then somehow ended up there for five months. Watch out for the Pai hole. The garden is very well kept and gives the place a lovely outlook, and the staff are nice. It's near the walking street, and the price for what you get is great. Sound barely stays in the rooms, though.

The host was absolutely sweet and clearly looks after the beautiful garden. The room was clean and simple, and the garden itself is pretty. It was the cheapest place we could find near the walking street, so the value was great.
