The owner was really nice, and from the outside the place looked beautiful. We picked it for the low price, but the room let us down. There was a gap in the unfinished wall connecting us to the next room, so we could hear every word and sound. The shower had no hot water, and the bed was dirty, with hair all over it and the floor.

The place is close to the road, so there are lots of bikes passing, and the thin walls let you hear everything outside. There was no hot water in the shower, no bathroom mirror, and no charger by the bed. I booked through agoda, but because the owner had overbooked, I had to argue with her at 20:00 before I could get a room.

It’s a quiet little guesthouse that makes a nice getaway, still close enough to the walking street without being in a crowded area. The place isn’t luxurious, but it’s great for a budget stay. The owner is lovely, and I come back every year for her hospitality. I’d definitely recommend it.

A quiet, relaxing base rather than a backpacker hangout, with nice views and simple, solid, clean wooden huts. The place is 18 years old, though most of the huts were made recently. It’s near the road, so getting there is easy, but the rooms sit away from the road noise. Earth tone and dang restaurant are next door, so there’s excellent food close by.
