The team are very nice and friendly, and the breakfast was okay, though more choices like sourdough bread and cold cuts would’ve been good. The Safari Villa was nice overall, but I’d book it when there’s a deal on. The property feels a bit dated, and the bathroom has no proper shower, just a bathtub with a very short hose and nowhere to secure the shower head. Still a good experience overall.

The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve met at any hotel or resort. Whatever we asked, they did their best to help or find an answer. The location also made it easy to explore Pai, and I really liked the Thai omelette at breakfast. The resort itself is nice, though a bit dated, and the Western-style breakfast was the main drawback for me.

We slept really well here, and the resort still has a certain charm despite having been open for about 16 years. The room was spacious, the price was reasonable, and breakfast came with a fairly broad choice, though the pineapple was underripe. If you're driving, there's plenty of parking. Pai Walking Street is easy to get to, and the free shuttle goes to the night market. It's peaceful while still being convenient, and we'd happily stay again next time we're in Pai.

The staff were cheerful and welcoming, and the huge property was so quiet that there were almost no other guests. When we arrived there was just one other guest, and somehow we were put in the room right beside his, despite all the other rooms available. The place must have been ambitious and beautiful once, but it has clearly been neglected for a long time. Several buildings are completely abandoned, with dust, debris, and signs of small wild animals inside. The gym, bar, pool, conference room, and most of the other facilities are nearly or entirely abandoned too. If you want somewhere quiet and don't mind being far from town, this is certainly quiet.
