The nearby road was a shame, since the car traffic was very audible and kept the stay from being perfect. Still, the authentic Thai house was beautifully decorated, the views were outstanding, and the service and meal were among the best we've had in Thailand.

The Mekong view is stunning, and you can even kayak on the river. The atmosphere is wonderful and natural, with a beautiful pool beside the traditional Thai-style house. The place is clean, the staff give excellent service, and I highly recommend it.

It's a very private, peaceful place with a lovely atmosphere, ideal for relaxing. The staff are lovely and provide excellent service. Food is made in-house, trailer-made, and brought privately to your room, so there's no need to eat in a communal area. We visited in the dry season, when the Mekong was quite low. It would be even better with higher water levels.
