The staff were friendly, and the resort has lovely natural scenery and a really beautiful pool. It's close to the Main Street, though not really in the Khaoyai area. Breakfast was okay to me, but there wasn't much choice.

The staff helped us find local temples and a backroad route to the national park, and they were friendly and knowledgeable. Dusit Thai resort is easy to get to on a Friday, then makes for a handy quick escape back to Bangkok on Sunday. My friends and I had a great weekend there, and we'll be back soon.

The kids had a great time around the resort. It's a peaceful, lovely place, and not far from Khaoyai National Park.

I paid the walk-in rate of 1600 baht, but was disappointed with the resort as a whole. For a 3-star rating, I feel the room should be worth around 800 baht.
