Golden Gold Resort & Spa Khaoyai

We were given rooms on the 2nd floor of the building at the back. It's a nice place with lots of facilities, but dining would have been better if there were a restaurant as the website says. Staff also weren't available early in the morning. Even at 6 Am on Sunday, there was nobody in the lobby.

The grounds are roomy and family-friendly, with plenty of garden space and several types of rooms. It’s also handy for getting around: Khao Yai National Park is about 10 minutes away, and the closest 7Eleven and a few restaurants on the main road are a 5-minute drive. My standard room had plenty of space, air conditioning, hot water, a fridge, TV, toiletries, and towels. The mattress was just okay, comfortable enough to sleep on. There’s no soundproofing or blackout curtain, though, so light sleepers might want earplugs and an eye mask for nearby conversations and the morning sun. Prices are affordable.

The place is huge, with lovely nature and a beautiful park where I took lots of photos. We could only get a standard room when we stayed, but it was clean enough and everything was fine. There was Wi-Fi and hot water, but no breakfast was provided.

Chocolate factory and restaurants are just around the corner, and the location is convenient, just off the Pak Chong road and about 10 minutes from the park entrance. The accommodation is a bit of a mix, and seems more geared toward school visits. It does that job bloody well.
