Le Monte Hotel Khao Yai

The hotel is in a quiet, serene area, with a comfortable atmosphere and many places to visit nearby, including a strawberry farm, flower park, restaurants, and an animal farm. We stayed three nights in the first week of Dec 2025. I’d emailed ahead to ask about a small birthday cake for my husband since we’d be arriving late. The staff were so sweet: they came to our room singing Happy Birthday and presented him with a cake. Their heartfelt service made the stay memorable. Special mention to Pham, a young man who had just joined the hotel. He speaks eloquently and was very helpful.

The included breakfast had several set choices, Thai and Western, along with Katom, coffee options, baked goods, and fruit. I had scrambled eggs with sausage, ham, bacon, and salad. The price was outstanding for a New Year’s stay, and I’ll be back. I also liked the grounds, including a large lawn behind the pool and a big venue for parties beyond it. There are three restaurants on site, one with a rooftop spot to relax under the moon and stars. The pool is very nice, though there are quite a few toys in it, but it’s big enough that they don’t get in the way. The rooms were clean and maintained, with comfortable beds and plenty of space. The hotel seems older, since the rooms open to the outside, though it’s been fully renovated. I loved the architecture, which reminded me of classic Spanish-style hotels in California, and the back view of the escarpment toward the Korat plateau was lovely.

The hotel is nice and quiet, and its city-center location means everything is nearby. I did have an issue at breakfast: my four-year-old came with me, and they said I had to pay for the child’s breakfast. I paid, but that bothered me.

We were there this weekend with our HOG Harley group. The rooms were nice, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. Thanks.
