Everything else was good, but the fabrics looked like they’d been used for a long time and had turned yellow.

The location has some steep slopes, which made getting back to our unit tricky at times. Some ride drivers weren’t confident going down them, especially in a van or SUV. A few cancelled once they saw the slopes as they approached, and sometimes we had to walk 100-200m up or down to reach the unit. If you don’t mind a bit of exercise, though, this is a good place to stay near Patong. We loved waking up to the view each day and coming back to a beautiful evening scene. Celine was approachable and helpful, including when my girl got a bone stuck in her throat. She gave us good advice so we could get medical help quickly, and made our stay really pleasant. The unit was spacious, clean, and tidy, like coming home every day. The pillows were firmer than we liked. The surroundings were quiet and serene, though during our Christmas stay we could hear quite a bit of party music from the resort below. Closing the balcony doors blocked the noise.
