Les Collines Resort

The owners are kind and accommodating, and there are friendly cats and dogs around if you like animals. It’s a quiet spot out in the countryside, with no unpleasant noise or concrete buildings in sight. Just birdsong, fields, and hills stretching out in the distance.

Leaving our hosts was harder than I expected after three days; we’d gotten so used to being there. The highlight was the forest hike, with a great guide team and photos of the animals we came across. We added an extra day beyond the package, which I’d recommend for a relaxing break or more exploring. The hosts and other guests made for a warm, unusually close family atmosphere, helped along by Cédric's southwestern accent. The accommodation was excellent and the food delicious.

We did the "explorer" package for three nights with Cedric and Potjana, and the whole thing was superb. Transfers, meals, drinks, park entrance, massage, laundry, it was all covered from start to finish. We’ve been to Thailand three times, and this was the first time we’d had such a complete experience. What a treat! Cedric knows a lot about the animals and is clearly passionate about them. He and his team kept adapting the outings so we could see as many as possible, without disturbing them in their natural habitat. We saw lots. The team, Tony, Pan, and Whyski, were capable, friendly, and looked after us really well. Tony was a particularly kind, pleasant guide who knew how to take care of his guests. The two-day trek with Cedric and his guides was magical. They took us through the forest and to waterfalls off the beaten track, where we saw gibbons, sambar deer, porcupines, snakes, bats, and hornbills. Cedric even showed us his favorite gaur. He’s so warm and welcoming, and we loved talking with him around the campfire like old friends. The stay itself was peaceful, the food delicious, and the massage fantastic. An absolutely wonderful visit. Thank you, Cedric!
