We didn't stay at the hostel, but spent two days exploring Khao Yai with Mr Nong and his son. The quiet trails were the best part, with no crowds, just time out in nature. We also had fun following wildlife around the park. Mr. Nong and his “network” helped us spot elephants, hornbill, and other animals, while keeping the Gibbons from climbing aboard. We love Thai food, and the dinner Mr. Nong chose near the market was a pleasant surprise. Most of all, we enjoyed talking with such a kind man and his son. Thanks for sharing all that time with us.

I didn't stay at the hostel, but I joined a full day wildlife tour in Khao Yai with Mr. Nong and his son. It was better than I expected, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it if you're interested in the National Park's wildlife. Mr. Nong is knowledgeable, passionate about the park, funny, and very good at spotting animals. We saw elephants, gibbons, hornbills, macaques, a porcupine, a python, and birds in their natural habitat. We also walked in the forest, where he showed us the fauna. They picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation in Pak Chong. I learned so much, and it was well worth it.

Mr Nong was a lovely surprise and made our trip much better. He's a fantastic, friendly host and guide, and a lot of fun to spend time with. His hostel is in a great spot, and we had a really good stay with him.

We didn't stay at Mr. Nong’s Hostel, but had a wonderful day with him at Khao Yai National Park (KYNP). We were picked up from our hotel at 8:45am and didn't get home until 6:45pm. Mr. Nong went out of his way to make the day special, taking us on treks and drives we hadn't done before and working hard to help us see all the animals. He's caring, proud, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. We've visited KYNP three times, and there are plenty of people posing as guides who are really just day drivers taking your money and leaving you on your own. Mr. Nong stayed with us every step of the way, sharing his knowledge and expertise and spotting animals brilliantly. We couldn't have been happier. Khàawp khun mâak khâ, Rhonda

The stay at Mr Nong's house was lovely. He made us feel welcome, like family, and even took us to the market for dinner, which was really cool. We also had a fantastic two-day trip to Khao yai national park with him as our guide. He's experienced, knows a lot, and can answer all your questions. On the first day he spotted elephants within an hour, though wildlife is unpredictable and we didn't see any on day two. I definitely recommend booking with him for a great Khao Yai tour.
