The service was wonderful. The staff looked after us really well and were always smiling. The food tasted great, and you should try it. Breakfast has lots of variety, including omelets, Vietnamese pan-fried eggs, bread, Thai noodles, a different Thai curry each day, fries, and desserts such as taro in coconut milk and chocolate cakes. The rooms and property look a bit old, but they’re clean. It’s somewhat far from popular tourist spots, though there’s no traffic, and it suits you if you like somewhere quiet with a country feel. I recommend walking about 2.5 km to Wat Nong Nok Kraten, especially the temple at the top of the hill. The views all around are lovely. Some parts of the route have slopes of around 30 degrees, so it’s currently not recommended for older people with knee problems. A 4WD is recommended for now because the road isn’t fully finished.
