Sala Khaoyai

The service made everything easy, from being greeted at the car and guided straight to the villa to checking in from the comfort of my room. The staff explained all the details and were very attentive. I stayed in the Pool Villa Onsen room at Sala Khao Yai, which was stunning, clean, spacious, and well equipped. There were umbrellas, indoor slippers, comfortable outdoor sandals for the lawn, swimming pool, and onsen tub, plus complimentary bath salts. The edgeless pool is a must, with its incredible view blending into the detailed mountain scenery. Breakfast was made to order, and we could order as much as we wanted. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the smoked salmon, while my parents enjoyed the rice porridge set. For dinner I ordered the BBQ set, which exceeded expectations. Along with meat and vegetables, it came with fried rice, papaya salad, seasonal fruit, and chocolate shortcake. It was filling and good value. Grilling at night was lovely, with a spotlight so it wasn't too dark.

We spent five nights at the Sala and were impressed by the design and coziness of the One bedroom Villa Onsen Suite with private pool. Food quality, staff service, and attentiveness were outstanding. We clearly recommend a rooftop private barbecue at sunset, and a swim in the huge, secluded infinity pool.

We had an amazing three-day, two-night stay with my husband and our 20months baby boy. It's a boutique hotel, so expect quiet and quality time. The architecture and interior design are beautifully done, and the food is quite delicious, though quite pricey for Thailand. A nice surprise was that the meat is Halal. The staff are really nice, but their English is quite poor, so we had some trouble making ourselves understood with basic requests. The baby cot provided definitely wasn't suitable for a baby older than 06 months. On Monday morning the main pool was cleaned for five hours, from 7am to 12pm, without any heads-up, which was disappointing. It would have been nice to meet the hotel manager and share our experience during the stay.

We came for our honeymoon on November 19, 2025, and two staff members greeted us so enthusiastically. We felt welcome and relaxed throughout. The place was peaceful and very well maintained, with beautiful scenery and neat amenities, including an infinity pool overlooking the mountains. We'd recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Khao Yai.
