Thames Valley Khao Yai

The Pool Villa gave our family plenty of space, privacy, and a fantastic private pool that became the setting for many memorable moments together. It was beautifully designed and exceptionally clean. The whole resort was quiet and well maintained, with lovely scenery and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy city. There were also plenty of activities to keep adults and children entertained. Our butler, Mr. Boath, made a real difference. He was professional, attentive, quick to help, and always greeted us warmly. His care and attention to detail made us feel looked after, and he went out of his way to make everything right. The other staff were welcoming and helpful too, and the details throughout the resort made it easy to feel comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Thames Valley Resort and enjoyed every moment. The villa, peaceful setting, family activities, and service all came together for an unforgettable visit. It exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to coming back. We highly recommend it.

The room had a lovely layout and was clean and well cared for. The garden and overall atmosphere were beautiful, and the location was really good. We had a wonderful holiday, helped along by the kind service. The café was lovely too, and the amenities were good, especially the lotion.

The buffet breakfast had plenty of options, though as vegans we could barely find anything beyond fruit. The chef tried to prepare something special, but it came across as boiled vegetables put together. Still, the rooms, stream, cleanliness, and surrounding nature were lovely. Thames valley felt more like the English countryside than Thailand or Khao Yai. We had a great stay, and I’d recommend it to couples or families looking for a relaxing break.

We booked the pool villa for our big group, and having Max as our butler made the stay especially good. He kept checking whether we needed anything and even offered to arrange dinner. The hotel itself has a great vintage, old England style.
