This is one of the worst hotel stays I've had. The worst part was waking to scratching behind my headboard, then hearing it at the window five minutes later. It was loud enough that I thought someone was breaking in. When I turned on the lights, I was shocked to see a rat the size of a cat in my room. Staff couldn't catch it, and it escaped. Reception said I could move to another room the next day, after it had been disinfected because this was a quarantine hotel. I felt they simply didn't want to deal with me, and I had to sleep in the room knowing that huge rat had been there. The next day they said the hotel was full, which seemed untrue because both rooms beside mine were empty. They refused to move me. On Line, someone wrote, "are you scared," as if it were a joke. I spent three more nights there with the lights on. During my two weeks there, every meal arrived cold at my door. When I complained, staff said nothing could be done and tried to make me rent a microwave. The fries seemed days old, and the beef was so chewy I couldn't swallow it. One day I received only two of the three meals I'd paid for. Another day I was so frustrated I ordered from 7-11, but didn't get what I'd asked for. I also requested a SIM card from 7-11. A staff member tried to sell me one she'd already registered for 200 baht. After looking into it, I realized she was trying to sell me a 7-11 SIM that cost 9 baht. When I changed my mind and said I'd buy one myself after my quarantine ended three days later, she insisted I could only get one with Thai ID. My Thai girlfriend told me that wasn't true. This hotel isn't cheap, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The place felt empty and a bit creepy, almost abandoned. It was also not very clean. The only staff member I saw in two days was very nice, but there wasn't much else to say for the hotel. It seems like it used to be a nice place, though I don't know whether time or COVID took its toll. My shower heater didn't work, and the test and go food was cheap and poor quality. I don't usually complain, but I was disappointed with what I got for the money I paid.

For the price, I was really happy with this ASQ. I stayed with my daughter in the Duplex room, and we loved the meals every day, especially compared with a pricier ASQ we'd stayed at before. Our room had a balcony and microwave, with the bedroom upstairs, so it didn't feel cramped. The extra space and amenities were well worth the price. There were two TVs, plenty of cleaning supplies, and snacks. You could order grabs during set times each day, and staff replied quickly on Line. We had no bugs, rats, or anything like that during the two weeks. It's much cheaper than most ASQ options, and it was great for the price. Keep your expectations reasonable for this budget.

Hair turned up in the food more than once. They charged an extra 15000 Baht for our one-year-old for 11 days, but didn't provide a bed. The beds felt very unstable, with nothing but bare cement underneath. I definitely wouldn't bring babies who can already walk and run here. The booking and payment process were both quick and easy. Still, if you're willing to pay a bit more, I'd recommend another ASQ hotel.

Our return pickup was so fast that we were in our room about 40 minutes after getting back to Bkk, almost before we realized it. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and the WiFi was quite good. The rooms were huge and clean, with balconies, plus plenty of water, snacks, and other essentials. Staff replied quickly every time by email, Line, and WhatsApp, and helped us sort everything out, even though I know I can be terribly annoying when I'm worried. When we asked to delay our covid test because we had an online meeting, they kindly agreed, and the nurse came a little later. She was the sweetest too. And the food was absolutely delicious! I'd seen lots of complaints in the comments, but we got plenty of tasty meals. Vegan food was available on the Vegetarian menu, which was so cool.
