It’s easy to get around from here. The central Pak Thong Chai market is about 15 minutes away on foot or around 5 minutes by scooter or car. There are two banks nearby, plus 7-11 and Lotus for snacks and drinks. White House is just around the corner for good food and drinks, and in the evening you’ll find street food stands close by. The central market has plenty more places to eat. My room was very clean, the staff were friendly, the AC cooled it well, and a hair dryer was provided. They collect an electricity deposit at check-in and refund part of it after checkout, depending on how much power you use. I took off a star for a few reasons. A street-facing room can get very loud bells in the evening, apparently marking the time, and they may keep ringing past midnight. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but it can be annoying if you’re trying to sleep early, say at 9 p.m. It feels a bit like an AirBnB stay: there’s no daily room cleaning, soap is supplied sparingly, and toilet paper isn’t replenished. You can pick those things up at 7-11 or Lotus. As a coffee drinker, I also missed having an electric kettle. I got cold coffee drinks at 7-11 instead, though perhaps you can ask to boil hot water downstairs. By Thai standards, it’s a very good hotel. I’m very satisfied and would recommend it.
