I never got to stay at Chumphon Cabana Resort, but I want to thank the team for their help. I had booked a non-refundable stay and couldn't travel to Chumphon because of the current fuel shortage in Thailand. I explained what had happened soon after booking, and although the terms said the reservation couldn't be refunded, they kindly canceled it without charge as an exceptional gesture. That understanding and level of service meant a lot to me. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism.

The beachfront setting was peaceful, and the natural materials and ocean views gave the resort a warm, rustic feel. Dinner at the restaurant was a highlight. Everything we ordered tasted great, especially the Crispy Baan Liang Leaf Som Tum (Papaya Salad with deep-fried Gnetum gnemon leaves), which was spectacular and well worth trying. The one thing I missed was a swimming pool. Even without one, I had a wonderful stay thanks to the beach and food. A lovely choice for nature lovers.

The Villa Room was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed, good pillows, and a bathroom that separates wet and dry areas. The air conditioning worked well, and the smart TV lets you sign in to Netflix and other services. It’s a small resort and restaurant beside the beach, though the rooms sit farther back, under a five-minute walk away. It’s next to the temple. The price was reasonable, and breakfast was average.

This was my second visit, and the rooms, A15 and A19, were spotless. The staff are wonderful and welcoming. I ate at the restaurant for three days and still wanted more. Their BF, jam, and sourdough are made in house, and I really love that the food is free from MSG. We’ll be back again before long. Thanks to everyone there!
