The rooftop saltwater pool on the ninth floor was lovely, with an unparalleled view of the city and ocean. The hotel is beautiful and immaculately kept, the rooms are spacious, and the staff and owner were kind and accommodating. They even let us park right in front for our whole stay. It sits back from the road and is well insulated, so street noise wasn't an issue. My girlfriend and I had booked three nights as the last stop of a three-week Thailand vacation. Our flight home through Doha was cancelled because of the US/Israeli attacks on Iran and its neighbors. The owner helped us extend our stay at a discounted rate and suggested other ways to get home. We live a world away, but if we make it back to Phuket, we'd love to stay here again.

We felt at home in the clean, comfortable, well-maintained rooms at Bab Alhara Hotel. It's in the heart of Patong, handy for the beach, shops, restaurants, and nightlife, while the hotel itself is quiet and relaxing. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and ready to help. Great value for the comfort, cleanliness, and location. I'd recommend it and would happily stay again.

The room was comfortable and made us feel at home at Alhara Hotel. Everything was very nice and clean, with the friendly ladies tidying up whenever we stepped out. The front desk team were welcoming and courteous, especially the gentleman at reception. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it.

After a terrible arrival at another hotel, we were left outside at 4am with backpacks and pajamas, so we booked Bab Alhara quickly through booking.com. We landed there around 2am after our flight, but the room we'd booked was disgusting and below standard, and we couldn't stay. The kind receptionist tried to help right away. Our room wasn't ready for an early check-in since guests were still in it, but he didn't want us going out alone so early to get food. He offered an available upgraded room for an extra charge, which he tried to keep as low as possible. We took it, and it was lovely, clean, and spacious. We stayed three nights. The room was cleaned daily, and we got two bottles of water each day. Staff were friendly every time we saw them. At checkout at 7am, the receptionist who'd helped us said goodbye, and another staff member helped with our bags to the minibus and checked the details were right to make sure we were safe. The only problem was a window leak that soaked my friend's clothes. They offered to wash and dry them, and we understood it couldn't have been helped. After we left, they closed the room to fix it. Highly recommend!

Our room was very clean and well furnished, with a balcony, two chairs, and a coffee table. This is a great hotel in the heart of Patong. The owner takes good care of it and expects guests to be civilized, so there is a small deposit. We had no trouble getting it back. Best four-star hotel we've stayed at in Patong so far.
