The person who handles the rental motorbike as well as hotel duties was especially rude and dismissive, enough to ruin the mood for the day. The front desk staff also seemed unsure who was staying at the hotel and kept asking unnecessary questions, which made things uncomfortable. They said they didn’t understand Thai even after I showed them Thai messages. It was confusing and came across like an excuse. Basic respect and clear communication should be part of a hotel stay, but I didn’t find either here. The reception’s behavior was unprofessional, and based on the staff alone, I wouldn’t recommend Platinum Hotel, whatever the location or price.

I paid 170€ for a one-night booking at 12:30 pm, then arrived at the property at 1:00. They said check-in didn’t start until 14:00 and wouldn’t let me in, so I chose to cancel. The property kept my money and refused a refund. Avoid at all cost, they are scammers!

It’s a relaxing place, set back from the hustle and bustle but still close to local amenities.

Mr. Tom and Mrs. Koy gave us a warm welcome and were very professional, going out of their way to make us feel at home. The whole team was kind and attentive, and every staff member helped make our stay memorable. I’d recommend this hotel for its friendly atmosphere and impeccable service. Thanks again, we’ll be back in October!

The bathroom smelled and was dirty, the shower didn’t drain properly, and the rug was disgusting. It was noisy too, with sounds from the neighboring rooms, the street, and music all coming through. The place is far from the beach, though there’s a 7/11 next door and plenty of nearby spots to eat. Poor value for the price.
