The rooms are nice, but the glazed wall lets in a lot of noise at night. Motorbikes speeding past in the early hours could make it hard for light sleepers.

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options, and made individually for each guest. Since it wasn't a crowded buffet, the meal felt relaxing. This is a warm family-run hotel with reasonable prices and good value. I think it's a lovely place to experience the warmth of Thailand if you're comfortable embracing Thai culture. It's not a five-star hotel, but the owner's family speaks Japanese fluently, so communication is possible even if they're away. I had no issue with road noise, perhaps because my room wasn't facing the road, though it could bother some guests. Getting around may be tricky without a car or confidence riding a motorbike. Hiring a driver is a good way to get around efficiently, or you could use a motorbike yourself or hire one.
