Blue Cabin Hotel (Formerly A-ONE New Wing Hotel)

We stayed for 6 nights in rooms with a minimalist design, just a minute’s walk from the beach. The staff made things easy for us, especially with the children, and Pure, Kim, Sek and Jame (waitress) gave us exceptional service. Thanks also to Eve (Line: oopevenaka). We had an amazing time and I’d happily stay again on my next visit.

The breakfast was the one letdown. I wanted to try it once before deciding whether to include it in a future booking, but I wasn’t given the chance. Still, my long stay at A-One New Wing Hotel Pattaya was a very positive one. The room was spacious and suited a longer visit, and the hotel was comfortable, clean, and well located. Mr. Sek and Pure greeted me warmly every day. Their kindness and care made me feel at home and added a lot to my stay. I’d still recommend the hotel.

My name is Saikat, and I stayed with my family at A-One New Wing Hotel, Pattaya from 25 January 2026. On 27 January 2026, my 4-year-old son got into the hotel’s private customer transport vehicle. It had been left switched on and unattended in the guest area. He couldn’t understand the danger, and the vehicle rolled forward into a signboard, damaging it. This could have caused serious injury or even a death. The hotel should be grateful that only the signboard was damaged. The hotel authorities blamed us straight away and demanded 6,500 Thai Baht (around 25,000 BDT) as a penalty. That amount was clearly excessive and unjustified. I was willing to discuss fair compensation and didn’t refuse to cooperate, but forcing an inflated charge on a family after the hotel’s own negligence was unacceptable. Leaving a vehicle running and unattended where guests can reach it was reckless, and letting a child access it showed a total failure of security. The lack of insurance also points to poor management and a lack of professionalism. When I questioned the demand, the authorities called the police to intimidate and mentally harass me instead of working through the issue responsibly. This is a factual account, not an emotional post. I’m sharing it to call for accountability, safety, and professionalism, so another guest or child doesn’t become a victim of this kind of negligence. A hotel’s responsibility includes safety and accountability as well as hospitality.

The bathroom needs a little more attention: the shower curtain had yellowish stains and a stench, and the door panel could use a wipe. I’d suggest changing or bleaching the curtain between guests and adding a safety handle above the bathtub to help people get in and out safely. Otherwise, my room and bathroom were really clean, including the counters, floor, bedding, and pillows. There wasn’t a funny smell in the room or on the pillows, or even a stray hair. The spacious room, cute maritime decor, wide, well-lit hallway, and good facilities made the reasonable price feel worthwhile. The public beach is right across the street. Front desk staff were nice and accommodating, security were polite, and the housekeepers were friendly. I’d come back.
