I’d seen plenty of bad reviews describing the same problems, like rude reception and breakfast issues. It’s hard to believe they’re all wrong, especially when another review praises those exact things. It makes me think the glowing reviews are written by staff whenever somebody posts a bad one. My wife and I stayed at Baboona hotel for three days, and it was a bad experience. The reception woman and other staff were rude and disrespectful, especially Ann at reception. On our last morning, my wife called to ask for two towels so we could shower before leaving. Ann shouted in a nasty tone, “no towel for you, you are.checking out”. We had to pay 100 Baht for towels, and she didn’t give us an invoice. Breakfast was entirely pork, with no cheese option. What about people who don’t eat pork? The hotel was dirty too, with ants on the dining tables.

Two years ago I overdosed on marijuana, and a bald employee took me to the hospital. Thank you! The hotel also has free breakfast and its facilities are pretty good.

The staff are friendly, and the place is clean and cute. It’s right across from the beach, with a 10 minute toktok ride to Walking street. Location is okay, not the best, but it does the job. If you’re in Pattya and want a nice beach place to chill out, this is your spot, don’t miss it. I’ll definitely come back.

We stayed longer than planned, and I’d come back. The bed was really comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. It’s a handy spot if you want to get around on foot, and public transport here is great. There’s no parking at the hotel.

I’d seen some reviews before booking a week here, but none of those issues have come up for me. I got a fifth-floor corner room facing the beach. The staff have all been friendly, breakfast is more than adequate, and the room is clean. I also see the cleaning staff around all day. Great hotel!
