After a beach day, I like being able to sink into the sheets in the terrace rooms and switch off for a while. They’re quiet and feel restorative to me. The location is hard to beat for Jomtien beach, with the sand right outside the resort. Sandbar by the Beach is next to BB House, so every few weekends there’s live music or Salsa. Most of the time, there’s parking right out front too.

The room was good for about 750 bath, and you can wash clothes and cook if you want. But parking the car was a problem, and other people were cleaning the place. The owner didn’t seem to care much about problems and was busy doing things at the back house. The swimming pool wasn’t clean. A woman in the next room made a lot of noise for more than an hour at night, while having sex, and again at 8 am.

It’s okay for a quick, cheap stay. The service was fine, but the rooms were very average, the door locks felt basic, and the pool area wasn’t laid out very well. Not the nicest hotel or resort.

The sitting area is good, and the beach is very close. The room itself is a little small for the price.

The staff are great and helpful, and breakfast tasted good despite the limited choices. The room was clean but a bit old, with no fancy extras. For a fair, cheap price, it was good enough.
