Our room was relatively clean, but that was the only positive. Noise from the Best Western Hotel ventilation system across the street made the balcony miserable. The sliding doors to the balcony were old and slightly damaged, and the bathroom fixtures were dated. The wifi kept disconnecting every ten minutes and reached only 52 mbit/s at most. When I complained at the desk, the woman said that was normal in a hotel. Maybe 30 years ago. I’d avoid this place.

The shower had no hot water because the heater was broken, and there was no engineer onsite to fix it. I saw in Google comments that this had happened before. A terrible stay, the worst I’ve had.

The rooms were decent, though I had a couple of issues with the shower head. Otherwise, an average stay. Be careful with checkout. The stated time is 12, and they charge 100BH per hour if you stay past that, up to 3pm. Reception staff can be cunning about it: they’ll tell you that you can check out until 3 without mentioning the extra charge. Keep that in mind.

North Pattaya is a bit out of the way, about 20 minutes from Walking Street by Bolt bike, but rooms cost less. There’s a 7/11 nearby, and it’s quiet without crowds or noise. The cleanliness was awesome, so it’s worth it, and I’ll book here again on my next trip. I had an excellent stay. It’s guest friendly, smoking is allowed on the balcony attached to every room, the AC is nice and cool, and there’s no security deposit. The staff were very cordial. Special thanks to the young lady receptionist for all her guidance. The rooms have all the facilities.
