Cape Dara Resort

The staff made the stay feel warm from start to finish, and the property was very clean, with a relaxing atmosphere and elegant decor. We stayed at Cape Dara Resort Pattaya for three nights and were genuinely impressed. The rooms and shared spaces were all very well kept. We had a noise from the water valve in our room at night. It wasn't much of an issue during the day, but we noticed it when trying to sleep. The staff fixed it right away and offered to move us. We took the offer on the third night and got upgraded to a beautiful room with an even better view. There are two pools, a large main one and a smaller one by the sea. We spent quite a while enjoying the view and the nice late afternoon feel by the beachfront pool. Breakfast was probably my favorite hotel breakfast in Pattaya so far, with a great selection, fresh food, and excellent quality. There was so much food, and everything looked delicious. We also had dinner at the resort on both nights, and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The complimentary golf cart or shuttle service to Terminal 21 and nearby places made getting around easy. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. Thank you for the great hospitality!!

Service was consistently smiling and willing, but the rest of our weekend stay in a suite was underwhelming. The place has seen better days, and my friend, who had stayed several times before, was disappointed by the reduced amenities and upkeep. Paint was chipped, and the jacuzzi was broken. The room was huge but had only the bare minimum, including just one balcony chair. Turn-down service left one piece of cake for two people, while the so-called fruit plate was one banana, one orange, and one passion fruit. It felt like box-ticking with no real effort. The lounge food was average at best: frozen onion rings, industrial cakes, and cheap cheeses. During the free cocktail hours I ordered a mojito but couldn't drink it, it tasted like it was made with a mojito mix. Breakfast at the main restaurant wasn't good either. There was little savory choice and nothing fancy or interesting for a hotel calling itself five-star. No seafood, no meat beyond chicken, and some ham slices floating in water. The sweet options were better, with good flan and pudding. Cape Dara needs to work much harder to deserve those five stars.

My wife and I went to Cape Dara Resort for one night midweek to spend some quality time together, and we had a great stay. The food was exquisite, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, the views spectacular, and the bed incredibly comfortable. We'd definitely go again.

Bom was especially attentive, polite, and caring, and his kind, positive attitude made me feel very welcome. The whole team were lovely, friendly, and always ready to help. The hotel was clean, tidy, and beautiful, with a warm, pleasant atmosphere. Every detail seemed well cared for, and I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay. I'm very happy with the experience and would love to return. Thank you to everyone for such a lovely stay!
