We stayed for over a week and it suited us well: quiet, pet friendly, central and fairly priced. At night, the dogs and noisy air con were the main interruptions. The staff were lovely and helpful, and you can rent bicycles for 50฿ a day or scooters. There’s also a washing machine on site for 50฿ per wash, with a drying rack on every balcony. The beach is under a five-minute walk away. The street isn’t much to look at, but it’s quiet. Rooms are spacious, and the showers have decent pressure and hot water. The old air con units are loud, though there’s a fan if you’d rather use that overnight. The bed was okay, firm and springy, but the mattress could use replacing. I’d stay again.

Emerald hotel is a real hidden gem in Pattaya. It’s under a five-minute walk to the beach, with great facilities and the nicest, most helpful staff I’ve come across in Thailand.

The bathroom was spotless and had no mold. The room was quiet at night, unlike many places around here, and it was a higher standard than I expected for the price. I also really liked having a small kitchen, which was a nice surprise. The owners were very friendly. There’s a washing machine beside the entrance and a balcony hanger for drying clothes. The closest 7/11 is one street away, and the beach and lots of restaurants are nearby too. There are several water machines close to the hotel.

The owner made me feel very welcome and did a lot to ensure I was comfortable. The staff were just as warm, attentive and ready to help. I had a wonderful stay, and would recommend this hotel for its friendly atmosphere and great service.

The boss and staff were so helpful during my stay and made me feel at home. It’s a lovely, very affordable hotel with nice rooms, and I enjoyed the hot coffee in the morning. I recommend it in Thailand. 🙏🐶🌹
