The breakfast was good, though the menu stayed the same every day and got repetitive. The hotel’s best point is its location, handy for shopping, nightlife, and nearby Pattaya attractions. I’ve been staying at Flipper House Hotel Pattaya since 4-03-2026, and there’s plenty that needs attention: my room smelled bad, housekeeping could be better, water backed up in the wash basin, and the air conditioner had problems. Front desk staff didn’t seem welcoming and could come across as rude. It’s okay for a couple of nights mainly because of where it is, but better service, cleaning, and maintenance would improve the stay a lot.

There are two pools, usually with room to relax, plus a bar, and the staff are friendly and give nice service. I’ve been back to Flipper House Hotel five times and always enjoy it. The central spot is great if you want to be close to everything, with restaurants, supermarkets, and local food markets nearby. It’s also easy to get a traditional Thai massage around here. The neighborhood is lively, so it may not suit you if you want complete peace and quiet. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The room was fine, and the location is very good, near the beach, bars, and restaurants. Breakfast and the pool were quite good too, but the start left a sour taste during my two-night stay. The day before arrival I got an email saying they’d cancel my booking because I hadn’t paid, even though Hotels.com said I would pay on arrival. Then, when I arrived the next day, they immediately asked for full payment and a cash security deposit. No welcome, and I felt threatened before I’d even got there.

This is still my favorite. I haven’t experienced any racism like other travelers from India have mentioned. It’s very clean, though a few superior rooms are smoking rooms. Breakfast is nice, even if it repeats, and the egg station has plenty of choices, so that works for me.

At 1000, it’s a must-have for the price. The bed is okay, and there’s a music video channel on the TV. Getting between 2nd road, beach road, and across to baukhao is easy. Ask for a rear room if you want it quiet at night. The key is bulky, but you can leave it at the front desk. They should check the guest’s name and room number before handing it back for security. Soundproofing isn’t great, so I’m sure people heard me being the boom boom champion. Better than I expected.
