We went in mid-May, only a few weeks after the April video, which showed the Salisbury steak at 99 baht. By then the menu’s 99 baht section had become 149 baht, with the same five dishes. The video showed two patties and 10-12 potatoes. Mine had one patty and seven potatoes, and they were undercooked and cold in the middle. Definitely not worth 149 baht. The gravy was quite nice, but I didn’t like the steak, and the roasted potatoes weren’t cooked enough. The mashed potatoes were okay. The Swedish meatballs cost 230 baht and were pathetically tiny, with mashed potatoes on the side. They were okay, but nowhere near worth that price for such a small portion. Our seven-year-old son was still hungry after eating them, so an adult wouldn’t find it filling either. Neither dish is something we’d order again. The first picture of each dish is from the video, and the second is what we were served. I’d gone to try the restaurant after seeing the Breakfast Club Pattaya review on YouTube, and I had high hopes. It was disappointing. The portions we got didn’t match what was shown, and the price jump from 99 to 149 baht just a few weeks after the video seemed strange. April is Songkran and a busy time, while May is heading into low season, so I find it odd that a YouTuber advertised the 99-baht menu and then the prices went up 50 percent soon afterward, along with much smaller portions.

Lunch at Harry’s RESTAURANT was relaxed, with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. I tried the “All You Can Eat Meatloaf,” and it was a good deal: tasty meatloaf, good potatoes, and enough food that I wasn’t left hungry. The sauce could have had more flavor, but it was still a fun, affordable meal in Pattaya. #KOLBMASTER

The location is great, with plenty of good food nearby. The street food carts on the same street were tasty and cheap, and the staff were good too. My only issue was room #204: the air conditioner drained into the bathroom, leaving the floor wet all the time. It smelled of mildew. The owner should run a pipe from the AC drain to the shower drain to fix it.

I paid for a room, but it wasn’t available, so I showered in the morning and left. The towels and bed linens were clean, but old and smelly. There wasn’t even a glass in the room, just one plastic cup. You’d be better off staying in a hostel.

On Soi Diana, this restaurant serves authentic Western food. Prices are on the high side, but the quality is reliable. With so many Western customers, the waitresses speak fluent English, which is useful for tourists. If you’re in Pattaya for a longer stay, check out the lunch and happy hour deals.
