Has Pattaya

Housekeeping didn’t clean our room during our two-night stay, and they didn’t clear the litter or replenish the water. The towels and bed sheets were clean, though. The balcony furniture was dusty, and there were bird droppings on the table and chairs. The hot water didn’t always come through quickly; sometimes we had to run the shower for 20 minutes. The suite had a kitchenette but no crockery or pots. I’d rather have had that space added to the room. The bed had pocket springs with very little padding, and the pillows felt like soft sponges rather than quality down. The AC only had cold and coldest settings, so it was either too hot or too cold. We chose a city-facing room on level 5, but road noise was loud through the poorly soundproofed windows. The hotel doesn’t provide travel adapters, so guests need to bring their own if their plugs don’t fit the local outlets. I didn’t try the pool. There’s no restaurant, room service, or breakfast option.

The room was clean, comfortable, and modern, and the pool was nice. Staff were friendly. There’s a 7/11 nearby, plus several restaurants within walking distance, and the beach isn’t far. It was a good stay, and I’d return. The area was quiet enough as long as your room didn’t face the road. The one problem was the bed. They’d pushed two single beds together to make a double, but it wasn’t really a double. I asked if I could switch to a room with a proper double bed and was told it would cost extra.

Our room was spacious, very clean, and well maintained. It smelled a bit musty when we arrived, but running the AC cleared that up. We were at the back, which gave us quiet, privacy, and distance from the road. There are a few street food choices near the 7-Eleven, but otherwise food is pretty limited unless you order GrabFood. It’s hard to reach without a car, and walking down to Walking Street takes a while.

The room was okay, though don’t expect it to be perfectly clean. The hotel sits on a small hill, with walks down to the beach, the lookout point, and the main street to Central. There’s a nice brunch place called “sunflour” nearby.
