The owner is really nice, and the location is close to the beach and near everywhere. But the rooms weren't as clean as we expected, and there were ants.

The atmosphere here is very good. The staff are incredibly lovely, from the bar lady to the kitchen and cashier lady, and the bosses are friendly too. I really enjoy coming for a fresh coffee, some food, or a few beers. The Thai and French food is excellent.

This is only a review of the hotel. I have to think hard to remember a worse place I've stayed. It smelled, everything was old and broken, and there was no window. For 5€ a night, it might have been bearable since I'd expect nothing at that price.

This is only about the restaurant. The food was awful, one of the worst meals I've had in Thailand, and the Thais eating with me agreed it was really bad and completely tasteless. My Pad Ka pow cost 185 baht, which is far too much, and although I asked for it very spicy, it wasn't spicy at all. Avoid this place.

The location is the one good thing. The floors were clean and there were no bugs, but everything else was bad. The hotel is awful and old, things are a bit broken, and the bedsheets and towels were old and not very clean. The mattress and pillows were much too hard 😢
