IP Plus Pool Villa Pattaya

My husband, infant son, grandma, and I came for a break from work and the city heat. We checked in 21 May for 1night. The pool was filthy, like swamp water, and I expected frogs. We were excited for our son to swim in the shade, so this was awful. We told the staff, who seemed surprised, and they moved us to another room. We appeared to be the only guests, which made this even harder to understand. The new room had a swarm of mosquitoes because the door didn't seal properly and let bugs in. We had to complain again before staff brought a seal for the bottom of the doorway and mosquito deterrent. The ceiling fan was caked in dust, so we couldn't use it, and it made it seem like the staff never cleaned. The staff weren't friendly. When I asked one rude staff member's name so I could identify them, they refused to tell me. The man wore glasses. A respectful employee would give their name, and I felt they knew they were being rude. We won't come back.

Happy Eats Good, strong dark roast coffee, with a smoky taste. The hot Americano was 65 baht. Staff were friendly, and the spacious, cute interior was quiet and tucked away, a nice spot to relax. If this review helped, please give it a 👍

The property has a lovely, jungle-like garden at the front, and the bungalows look inviting at first. The stay was let down by several things: our floor was dirty when we arrived, and the complimentary Nestlé "Pure" Life water smelled bad and was undrinkable. There was no reception staff after 2100 h, so if something goes wrong late at night, you may not get help. They do provide a night-time phone number. I called around 11 p.m. once, only to be told the staff was "out of town".

The manager had a bad attitude and didn't seem to care about customer requests or want to help. The room was old and dirty, with lots of hair on the bed. It surely hadn't been changed.
