KTK Pattaya Hotel & Residence(Regent)

The food was excellent, though service could be more attentive and they were short on cutlery. During breakfast, staff kept running out of cups, plates, and ingredients. The dining area’s touch activated door tends to slam into people, so the owner should add a proximity triggered door. Rooms feel spacious and mostly work as intended. The price, location, and service were decent, and the sauna is a nice extra.

I stayed in one of the towers with the reception desk, and the room was pretty nice. There’s a ground floor pool, but it seemed mostly unused. During my six days there, I only saw two people in it. The hotel is off the main street on a smaller road, so you have to walk farther to get places. The upside is that it’s quieter there. I mostly used Grab to get around, which was pretty easy. Yeah, I wouldn’t mind coming back.

The location worked well for us: close to the busy parts of town, but not right in the middle of them. We found plenty of restaurants and cafés just outside, and the room itself was quiet and very clean. Our housekeeper on the 4th floor did a great job. Street noise was mostly limited to the loudest scooters and motorcycles, and we barely heard the rooms beside or above us. The beds and pillows were probably my favourite part of KTK. The WiFi stayed strong, the smart TV was a good size, and the shower had solid pressure and properly hot water. Our one awkward feature was the tub and shower together. The tub sits high off the floor, which felt a bit tricky to climb in and out of when wet. We're a middle-aged couple, and anyone with mobility concerns may want to ask about a walk-in shower. There are indoor and outdoor pools. We prefer being outside, but the few loungers there were taken whenever we tried, so we gave up on using that pool. The deck is small; a couple of loungers in the sofa area might give people somewhere to sit after swimming, even if there isn't room to sunbathe. There's also a gym by the pools, though it has no air conditioning. We had a very good week at KTK and would recommend it for a clean, calm room in a convenient city location.

The breakfast was decent, and the central Pattaya location is nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though there are a few small blemishes. Some noise from outside gets through the balcony, and despite having a kitchenette, you aren't allowed to cook in the room.
