Why are these old-fashioned hotels so expensive when they’re this far from the beach? The drive can take 30-40 minutes or even longer. What a terrible trip.

The stay was only so-so, and I wouldn’t come back. Service wasn’t very good, and the manager hardly seemed to be at the hotel. At breakfast, insects were flying around the bread, and the food didn’t taste good.

I’ve stayed in several places in Pattaya, and Lantana was a great price with great service and employees. It’s a good choice if you want to stay in the real part of Pattaya.

The staff and receptionist were very rude and uncooperative. They weren’t willing to help with a vegetarian breakfast either. Not a good place to stay.

I arrived at 9 p.m. and parked my car inside, as the valet told me to. The next morning I needed to be at a meeting in Rayong by 9 a.m., so I got up at 7, ate, and went to the car, only to find it blocked in. Reception said they didn’t know which guests the cars belonged to and told me to wait. I was stuck waiting until 10 a.m. and missed my meeting. The workers didn’t seem to care when I told them the hotel had the worst customer service. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
