The low price seems to bring in some really inconsiderate guests. Noise went on at all hours, day and night, and I couldn’t wait to leave. The location is great, but if you want a calm, quiet hotel, stay somewhere else.

I booked three nights here because I needed to work on my computer, and chose this hotel since it’s near my Thai girlfriend’s office. I often stay here. The day before checkout, the work still wasn’t done, so I asked to extend. They said I could extend and pay the next day because there weren’t many bookings. I explained that I work at night and don’t wake up until after 2 pm, and was told that was fine. Still, at 9 am the next morning, someone knocked to clean the room. It was a hassle. Later, I found out another guest had booked my room three months earlier. The hotel told me to move or leave, even though I’d arranged an extension. Before checkout time, that guest had already arrived, and I was rushed to move. I’d just showered and was only in my underwear, putting my things away, when the owner and a female staff member came into my room yelling at me to hurry. The woman cleaning was especially angry and shouted. I trusted the hotel and hadn’t booked another place. The room they offered was smaller and smelled bad. I wanted to pay about the Agoda price, but they wanted more. Since the staff knew where my girlfriend worked, I didn’t feel I could get angry. I ended up leaving for another hotel. I don’t want to stay here again and absolutely don’t recommend it.

These rooms are small, cosy and clean, and the beach and walong street are very close. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. A good choice if you’re travelling on a tight budget.

I wasn’t sure at first, since there were only 8 reviews, but this place turned out to be a gem. The owner was really friendly and didn’t ask for a deposit. I paid THB 500 per night, which felt like great value. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and both the air con and hot water worked well. It’s made up of a few buildings along the street, so it feels private. You can bring guests back without taking them through a busy lobby or restaurant. The small soi is just around the corner from Soi Bukhao and right in the middle of the action, yet it stays quiet at night. Highly recommend. This will be my new go to for quick party trips to Pattaya.
