I enjoyed the pool, and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and had enough amenities, with bottled water supplied each day. Breakfast was fine. The gym was the letdown: some equipment was quite dusty, and there were no lighter dumbbells.

It was quiet and not crowded. The rooms were spacious and clean, though dated.

The service and security fell short of what we expected. My girlfriend and I asked for housekeeping, but the room wasn't cleaned. We also told reception that someone had tried to open our door and window the previous night, and that the room telephone didn't work. The staff were dismissive and didn't respond to these concerns. Some didn't even greet us, which made the hotel feel unwelcoming. We were thoroughly disappointed.

The pool was good, and the staff were friendly with excellent service. The bathroom was average. I'd avoid a room on the fifth floor: it gets too hot, and the AC takes a long time to cool the large room.

The room was a good size, but this old hotel left me with a bad experience. Customer service was really poor, and the man at reception treated customers like inmates. The air conditioner either didn't work or squeaked all night when it did.
