There were lots of cocoons from moths or other insects on the walls, in the closet, and elsewhere, as someone else mentioned. Apart from that, it was clean and overall okay.

It’s near Jomtien Beach, but the hot shower water is a problem. The staff weren’t interested in helping guests and were very rude. Avoid this hotel.

The main road noise doesn’t reach the rooms because the Neo is tucked down a side street. I’ve tried several budget hotels in the city, and in my experience this is the best choice. My room and bathroom were clean, and the air conditioning worked. The shower had hot water too, once I turned the lever left and waited 20 seconds. There are a few things that could be better: the shower has little storage space, and the lighting in both the room and bathroom isn’t ideal. There’s no wall mirror in the bathroom, just a small movable round one. A proper mirror would be better, but the area above the washbasin is a glass pane with a privacy screen, so there’s nowhere to mount one. The price is good, so I’ll come back.

The place was clean and tidy, and it’s a cheap stay in the town centre. The swimming pool wasn’t outside the apartment, though. You had to walk away to get to it, above the restaurant where you also had to go for breakfast.

The rooms are dirty and the staff are rude. It doesn’t feel like they care about customers at all. This place seems mostly used for short stays. Families would be better off choosing another property nearby. It doesn’t deserve your choice.
