It's a pleasant place, but the security, uniforms, and dim entrance and lift areas need improvement. Compared with newer developments in town, it falls well short of their standard.

Most units have sea views, and the building is well looked after and very well located. There are restaurants, plenty of good shops, and lots of people around. The staff speak English, and technicians can help with repairs in your condo for a few dollars. Thai888 Law knows the building too, since we have probate rooms for sale there.

I rented room 1007 for years. The bathroom smelled awful, so I fixed it for the owner, bought a new curtain and topper for about 17k and left them there, and even repaired the drain myself. Then the owner kept 10k from my deposit for a ridiculous reason. I don't have a problem with the condo itself, just a greedy and selfish owner. It's the cheapest room in the building, but the stress isn't worth it 🙂

Northshore still feels like one of Pattaya's top addresses to me, especially because of where it sits in central Pattaya. It's a very short walk to Pattaya Beach and nearby malls including “Central Marina”, “Central Festival” and “Terminal 21”. Raimon Land Ltd completed this low-density high-rise residential project in 2006. It was a big success from the start and sold out long ago. Back then it was the city's most prestigious address, and I think it may still be. Other developers have tried to match it, but few, if any, have a better location. The shared facilities are a big part of the appeal, mostly on the sixth floor. There's a swimming pool with a children's section and jacuzzi, plus a wooden sun deck and landscaped gardens. The air-conditioned gym overlooks the pool, and there's also a games room with table tennis. Male and female changing rooms have lockers and a sauna. Downstairs, the lobby has a reception desk, lounge areas, and water features. The building also has an on-site juristic management team, three passenger lifts and one goods lift, CCTV and 24-hour security, and covered parking over several levels. Raimon Land Ltd has since built other high-end projects, including “185 Rajadamri”, “The River”, “The Lakes” and “The Lofts” in Bangkok, as well as ‘The Zire” and “Northpoint” in Pattaya, and has won property awards. From Northshore, it's about a 30-second walk to Pattaya Beach, the Pattaya Beach Road Baht Bus Route, and The Bay Pattaya Mall. Soi 6 Pattaya Beach is around three minutes away on foot. Holiday Inn and Amari Ocean Pattaya Hotels, Pattaya International Hospital, and Trattoria Pizzeria Toscana Restaurants are about four minutes away. Central Marina Shopping Mall takes around five minutes, Terminal 21 Shopping Center eight, and Central Festival Shopping Centre ten. By car, Royal Garden Shopping Centre is about three minutes away and Walking Street four. Pattaya Floating Market takes around 18 minutes, Mimosa and Siam Country Club about 22 and 25 minutes, and Silver Lake Vineyard, Golden Buddha Mountain and Ramayana Water Park about 25. U-Tapao International Airport is roughly 50 minutes away, and Bangkok about 85.
