There’s free scooter parking in the basement, but the area around the building isn’t very appealing, with few restaurants or bars nearby. My apartment faced outside the compound as booked. The place between the buildings is so narrow that walking through with luggage is difficult, and there’s no breeze or fresh-air feeling. You can also see straight into apartments across from yours, and they can see into yours, so privacy is limited. The photos show the widest part of the space, which gets narrower. It looks kind of cool, though.
I’ve visited Pattaya many times over the past 20 years, and this was my worst hotel experience, by far. The apartment itself was fairly modern and nice, but getting inside meant dealing with insults. Staff first wouldn’t let me through the building’s outside door, then got upset when I asked for instructions. They went on to talk down to me and insult me like I was a three-year-old. Management clearly doesn’t understand customer service, so I left for another hotel right away. The location is poor too, with few food choices nearby and no baht bus close by. Stay far away.
At night, partying neighbors woke me up, and in the daytime it was construction drills. The building has no ventilation, and the hallways have no windows that open, so it felt like a stuffy, moldy concrete prison. Security guards also kept disturbing me to promote their own “cheaper” apartments. They called, messaged, and came to my door. I got no peace. I paid a 25,000 baht deposit and got back only 5,000. I left the apartment spotless, but they piled on made-up charges: 1,000 baht for cleaning, another 1,000 just to clean two cushions, and an electricity bill suddenly over 10,000 baht a month. I worked during the day and only used a lamp and fan. I took photos of the meter when I moved in and out, but they ignored them. I believe they tamper with the meter and charge insane rates per unit. They were friendly during the viewing, but after I signed, it felt like I was just an ATM. Moving out turned into a circus to take my deposit, with 20,000 baht gone for nothing. This was the biggest trap I’ve fallen into. Please stay away.
The rooftop on the 30th floor was a dream, with a breathtaking view across Pattaya and all the way to the sea. The sunset and night scenery are stunning, framed by luxurious columns and wide staircases. I also loved swimming in the pool with whirlpool in the evening, often with almost nobody else there. It’s open until 9 PM, and there’s a gym, sauna, billiard table, and cozy lounge as well. My condo felt like home and would suit a stay of several months or even a year. It’s spacious, with a big bathroom and fantastic shower, a large and very comfortable bed, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a new fridge and freezer, plus a cooking hood. The air conditioning worked perfectly with a remote. Entry was secure and modern, using a PIN code or magnetic key. The balcony was a highlight too, with metal chairs and a round marble-style table that made it lovely to sit outside. The location worked very well for me. Cafés, restaurants, massage salons, 7-Eleven, hairdressers, and other shops are just around the corner. Walking Street is around 15 minutes away on foot. The building is a little older, and some pool lights and walls could use freshening up, so I gave it 4 out of 5. Even so, living here was absolutely perfect for me. I’d happily rent it again for a year, and it’s worth a look for long-term living in Pattaya. #PattayaErfahrung #LongstayThailand #CityGardenOlympus #MeinZuhauseInPattaya #RooftopView #SonnenuntergangPattaya #LuxusCondo #LangzeitmieteThailand #PattayaLiving #DigitalNomadLife #ThailandApartment #PoolMitWhirlpool #WalkingStreetPattaya #RestaurantsUndCafés #ExpatLifeThailand #MeinThailandAbenteuer
The room is very clean, which made the stay more enjoyable. The swimming pool is spotless and especially nice at night!
