OYO 463 Tycoon Place

Getting around Pattaya city was easy, but the stay itself was very bad. The receptionist said it wasn't safe to leave belongings in the room because someone might come in and take them. Our window shutters had no locks, so we kept our phones and money under the pillow and worried all night that somebody could get through the window. In the morning the whole floor was wet from water dripping out of the AC. The restaurant was dirty and full of house flies, and breakfast was average. Staff didn't seem to care about customers. One star.

The room smelled very bad, and the bathroom was old fashioned. We booked for three people and were charged for triple occupancy, but when we asked for an extra mattress, the hotel refused. The property is tucked down a small lane and felt like a dharamshala where we were staying for free. I'd suggest booking somewhere else.

The pool was the best part, and they also offer laundry, massages, and other services. My stay was good apart from a few issues: there were no slippers, the shower pressure was very low, and the water heater didn't work.

The name sounds good, but I felt the kitchen staff were thieves. Please check your belongings, especially your phone, as soon as you leave the dining table. There was no CCTV access for the table where I sat, and nobody understood what I was saying. Even though the place is owned by INDIAN people, they showed no kindness toward Indians. It felt like they would definitely rob you if they knew you were Indian.
