Pikun Resort

The staff were so warm and friendly, and made sure I didn't miss the boat to the coral reef. Having a scooter was a real treat. I had a magical time exploring the island, riding up and down the mountains to reach other beaches and restaurants. I'd definitely consider staying here on a visit.

This was my third visit. The first two stays were okay, though the rooms and other amenities could use cleaning and renovations. One staff member used to go out of his way to help us since the resort has no food and we had to order from elsewhere. He isn't there anymore, and the new team doesn't seem happy to be working. Service at the front office lacks a caring attitude. The package includes a snorkeling trip and a free motorbike for each room, but the tour was only an hour including the boat ride to the spot. With the previous team, we'd done the same trip at a relaxed pace and it lasted nearly two and a half hours. For what we paid, we could have stayed somewhere much better. Honestly, this place should call itself a home-stay.

Breakfast was tasty, and there’s a barbecue area with seats where you can sit and have a drink. They also provide car transfers to and from the pier. The place has a nice, quiet atmosphere, and the room was fine, with the basics you need and good air conditioning.

We stayed in the yellow house, C. The room wasn’t dirty, but the toilet smelled. There were four flies when we arrived, and ants, big and small, kept showing up. Don’t leave food or sweets in the room unless you want an army of ants to take over. It wasn’t terrible, but if I had the choice, I wouldn’t stay here again.
