I stayed for 9 days, and changing rooms made the road noise less noticeable. Soundproofing really depends on the room, though I could hear traffic and hallway sounds even in the room far from the road. The air conditioner in the new room was too strong, with no way to turn it down, and the fridge could be quieter. There’s no hairdryer, and the shampoo and soap are low quality. Mosquitoes were around reception and kept appearing in my room after cleaning. The neighborhood isn’t very appealing. The staff are professional and do their best to make the stay pleasant. Gym, pool, and sauna access are included, and the gym is full sized with nearly everything you need. Just remember this is a two-star hotel, so keep expectations modest.

The gym is nice, but the rooms are way too humid. The walls are paper thin with no soundproofing, and the rooms on the main floor are broken. There are loads of mosquitoes too, even in the gym.

Just checked into my new hotel and only now realized how awful this one was. Zion. Hotel sucks; if you’re a retail Rodin hood, no issue, but if you’re Buddha, no prayers for you.

The pool and gym were the big draws for me, and the gym is 100% good. My room was perfect, clean, and had a huge bed. The coffee place in the courtyard is handy, with a 7/11 and laundry just across the way. In my opinion, this is one of the best hotels in Pattaya. The people working there are always smiling, friendly, and polite.
